Sunday, November 5, Hart Highlands Winter Club Annual Membership Drive from 12noon till 4p.m. Please come out and support the Hart Highlands Winter Club, as the hill relies on its memberships. Please bring a 2 X 2 picture for your pass and cash or cheque in the amount of $250.00. As an incentive for our members who sign up on that day, November 5, we will have the following promotion. Each month on the 6th until the end of the season, representatives from the Hart Highlands Winter Club Board of Directors will randomly select from our 2017-18 Family Memberships, to win a donated gift from NR Sport & Ski.

The lucky November recipient will receive their choice of either: a NITRO Glory Stomper Snowboard or a pair of ATOMIC Infamous Skis, as shown in photos.

The Prince George Ski Club will be present at the hill on Sunday with a table set up for any one interested in discussing the entry level ski program of the Nancy Greene Ski League. Feel free to drop by and have a discussion.

The BC Winter Games are BC’s premier multi-sport event, taking place every second year. The next Games will be in Kamloops, February 22-25, 2018. U14 are eligible to quality for the BC Winter Games.

This is your opportunity to train to represent our zone at the BC Games. The Prince George Ski Club is apart of the Cariboo-North East Zone (Zone 8). Zone 8 also includes athletes from communities such as 100 Mile House, 150 Mile House, Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort St John, Mackenzie, Quesnel, and Williams Lake.

The Prince George Ski Club is now taking orders for birch firewood! Our Club sells birch firewood at $125 per load. Loads are delivered in an 8 ft pickup truck box (slightly piled up and randomly loaded), roughly 1/2 cord.

Orders will be delivered on the weekend of Oct 14 and 15, 2017

The proceeds of this annual fundraiser help the Club with coaching expenses.

The Prince George Ski Club undertakes a number of different fundraising activities, the largest being sandbagging. This fundraiser is a lot of work and requires everyone’s participation.

The ski club will be sandbagging for the remainder of this weekend and next Friday, September 22, through Sunday, September 24.
